SPECIFICATIONS AND BID FORM FOR DEPUTIES’ UNIFORMS
Sealed bids will be received until 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 8, 2024, at the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office, 20300 Government Blvd., Livingston, LA 70754 for Deputies Uniforms. All bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked Deputies Uniforms”. Bids may also be submitted electronically at:

Bid price must include cost of sewing any and all emblems and any initial hemming of pant legs. Vendor agrees to maintain adequate inventory with the ability to fill orders on a walk-in basis. Also, Vendor must have onsite monogramming capability, dressing rooms, inhouse seamstress. Vendor must have brick and mortar storefront in the State of Louisiana. It is the intent of Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office to award this contract on an All-Or-None Basis, to the overall lowest bidder that meets all requirements and guidelines. Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office also reserves the right to award by individual line item, if needed.
In accordance with RS38:2212, whenever a brand name is used, it is only to denote the quality standard of product desired and the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office does not restrict vendors to the specific brand, make, or manufacturer or specification named. It is only used to set forth and convey to prospective vendors product desired; equivalent products will be acceptable. Samples are to be furnished at the Vendor’s expense. Packages should be clearly labeled referencing
“Deputies Uniforms”. Samples will be returned at Vendor’s expense by providing prepaid shipping packages or by pick-up at the Sheriff’s Office. Samples are not required if bidding as specified. If bidding alternate items, samples must be provided.
The color and styles shall be consistent with samples available for inspection in the Purchasing Department of the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office.
The quantities indicated are below the estimates. The actual quantities purchased my vary.
This bid will be awarded based on the total bid price of all items specified.
The bid prices shall be valid for all quantities required for a period beginning July 15, 2024, and ending July 15, 2025. At the option of the Sheriff, this bid may be extended for two (2) additional 12-month periods at the same price, terms and conditions.
